ProdMod DIY LED Hoop Making Kits
The ProdMod LED Hoop is a hand made LED Hula Hoop that is assembled from a parts kit. Comparable LED hoops already assembled can cost anywhere from $100 to $300. Make you own for less and have the satisfaction of building it yourself.
The ProdMod LED Hoop Design is unique in how easy the parts can be assembled since resistors are not needed and some can be built without the need for soldering. The simple construction of the LED hoop keeps the quality level high even when a novice with no prior gadget making skills builds one.
The ProdMod LED hoop is also easy to upgrade and to modify. So you can start with a basic design and upgrade only when you need to. There are currently three types of batteries to choose from:
1. disposable – non-rechargeable
2. Rechargeable battery with 1 hour charger
3. Replaceable AA battery, alkaline or rechargeable.
LEDs – Assorted Colors
buy in packs of 7 or 21. Customize your hoop colors! Choose from White, Light Purple, or use UV LEDs together with blacklight sensitive clothing.

ProdMod NightVlogger 160 Parts Kit
Now even brighter, at 160 lumen you’ll have more power than a 10W halogen in the palm of your hand. Actually you might even turn this into a bike light.

Not up for the DIY? You can just buy the pre-assembled prototypes instead.

I want to find out more about ordering hoola hoops that light up, either diy or all ready made. This for an elementary school variety show.
I would like a phone number to speak with someone live if possible.

I don’t have a business phone number so I sent a reply to your email address with some more info and questions for you. You can also see some basic information here http://prodmod.com/buy/educational-discounts/
If a phone call is necessary I can try to arrange it through skype

I’ve been buying a lot of parts from you lately, and I’ve noticed my shipping costs have been around the $20-$35 range, though you use flat rate boxes. I understand that there are also paypal costs that need to be covered, but this still seems pretty inflated to me. What’s that the deal with the expensive shipping?
prodmod says:

I checked your list of goods and noticed that my paypal shipping calculator has the standard switch weighing 0.2 lbs!! it should be only 0.01 lbs.
It thought your total weight was over 2 lbs!
Sorry about this mistake. I’ll make corrections and adjust your payment. If this has happened before please let me know.

Hi, I’m a hooper from Mexico and I’m looking for a led hoop. I found the “Diy Hula hoop kit”… (“Diy” means “Do it yourself”, right??? Sorry for my English) I want two of those kits. In fact, I want two regular hula hoops, and two minihoops, as the blueone that you published on video. Do you think two kits will be enough for that? I hope so, but maybe I will need three, right?
But I’m in Mexico. Do you think they could be sent to Cancun? If you think is more difficult (or expensive), I can ask a friend who lives in Chicago, she’s going to visit me in January and she could bring me the kit. I want to organize this before Xmas and everything.
Thanks!!!

Hi! I’ve been wanting to buy the DIY led kit, or several (i’m not sure). I’m making two 24′ mini hoops, and an led/fire hoop. do you offer fire hoop kits? or will i have to buy the wicks separately & just have to “figure it out”?
please email me asap!
thank you very much!

I am putting a hoop together for my girlfriends birthday and want to put together a really nice hoop. I want to use 21 slow changing lights, 7 UV, and 7pink. I am wondering first, how long a lithium battery might be able to hold 28 to 35 lights. Also, is their a way to order and connect a secound switch that would allow us to turn on and off the color changing lights seperately from the solid lights. Do you have any other advice for putting together hoops with more than 21 lights?

Is there a difference in the way you hook up the (Dragonfly) LED compared to a regular 2 legged LED?

Chris, the strobe LEDs only have 2 legs and they connect just like regular LEDs

Erica, you can simply click on “ProdMod LED Hoop Making Kits” above and then navigate to the kit that you like best. The tubing would have to be purchased separately

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none
the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to
another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

you tend not to mind if perhaps I publish a
